When you would rotate a PDF
Sideways pages almost always come from a scanner or a phone. You lay a document on the glass the wrong way, or you snap a photo in landscape, and the resulting PDF opens rotated 90 degrees. Some scanners save every page upside down by default. None of that is a problem until you need to send the file to someone who expects to read it without tilting their head. This tool fixes the whole document in one pass so every page faces the right way.
How to rotate a PDF, step by step

- Choose a direction: 90 degrees clockwise, 90 degrees counter-clockwise, or a 180 degree flip.
- Click Rotate PDF. The tool rewrites the page orientation and builds a new file.

Rotate before you fax
Fax recipients cannot rotate what they receive. A fax machine prints exactly what it gets, and a fax-to-email recipient opens a static PDF. If your pages are sideways when you send them, they stay sideways on the other end. Rotating first means the person receiving your insurance form, signed contract, or medical record sees it upright the moment it arrives. If your scan is also crooked across multiple files, merge them first, then rotate the combined PDF in one step.
