What Goes on a Fax Cover Page

A fax cover page is the first thing your recipient sees. It tells them who sent the fax, how many pages to expect, and what the documents are about. It also creates a record if anything gets lost or misdirected.

Every cover page should include the same core information: recipient name and fax number, your name and fax number, the date, a subject line, total page count (including the cover page), and a brief notes section.

Common Cover Page Mistakes
